I like to wear clothes that I make. Firstly, I can make whatever I want so I can't complain about any element of it. Secondly, I can be sure that no fabric is tossed out.
My boyfriend's cousin got married in Connecticut. I knew for weeks that it was coming up.
Actually, I lie.
I've known for about a year.
Yet, there I was, the evening before I had to leave for Connecticut, starting to make my dress. I had bought some mohair fabric from mood and based my look around this. I also incorporated Zero Waste ideologies and made a shift with back-detailing.
Well, under pressure, it got done, even though I had to do some hand stitching the next morning.

Hit the flip to see the back of the dress.
I loved the dress. It was super comfy to wear, even when dancing. It also wasn't too fancy that I couldn't throw on a coat over it when it got too cold.
