I never thought I'd be looking for a barber for myself.

Since my boyfriend shaved my head, I've realized that I need to find a barber to keep it low, until I'm ready to grow it out. I tried out a barber shop close to my apartment and he shaved an entire quarter of an inch MORE THAN I ASKED! I was so PISSED! I wanted to sue him...except his shop is like a tiny mom and pop operation. I couldn't do anything but fume in my apartment and to anyone who would listen. The worst part is, more of my head was shaved than I planned and there wasn't anything I could do about it.

I found the best barbers in the Bronx but I can't go there every time I need a shave so I went hunting in my neighborhood for a barber I would like.

I finally found one.

It's 1395 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn.

The barber patiently listened to my horror story and he assured me that I could come to him and get the same clean shave whenever I need. He shaved my head and....

I am HAPPY with it!

We're even growing back the little bit I didn't want shaved and you almost can't notice the difference.

I was so psyched to have found a guy close to my apartment that I could go to.

So there you have it. I never though I'd be looking for a barber myself...but I found one.

Moral of the story....as with everything else in life, do research and be extremely detailed in telling a service provider what you want.

Or you can end up with a quarter inch less hair :)
