Max and Lubov Azria outdid themselves with Herve Leger's Spring/ Summer 2013 collection. Known for body-conscious dresses that have the magical power of slimming and shaping the wearer, Herve Leger manages to stay true to their legacy while maintaining a young, always fresh aesthetic.
This season, Max Azria sought inspiration from the South. This was evident in the use of handcrafted embroidery, patchwork and applique fused with couture techniques. This collection emanates feminine strength. The power of a woman in a great dress is unparalleled, right? The color pallet included a sexy mix of whites, greys and nutmeg, with punches of blue.
I loved the slimming effect of the belts. They narrowed in the middle of the waist, drawing the eyes in and making the waist appear smaller. I can't wait to see the next crop of red carpets that will, no doubt, be peppered with items from this collection.
