The topic of plus-size beauty continues to fascinate me. My girlfriend shared this video with me on Facebook and I wanted to share it with you. Robyn Lawley has been chosen to the Ralph Lauren's first plus-size model. Firstly, Robyn Lawley doesn't look plus-size. She is, factually. She's a size 12. The difference is that she is over 6 feet tall. So, no, she is not the average size of women everywhere. Most women are not over 6 feet tall. She looks slimmer and very proportional. She actually doesn't even look like the average woman. Her body looks like a model's body because of how tall she is.

I'm excited that Robyn Lawley is Ralph Lauren's first plus-size model but would they dare put a pear-shaped woman on their ad campaigns? Or how about one who is top-heavy?
Women, girls, people who read magazines and think you need to look like these models, you don't have to look like Robyn Lawley, either. She thrived when she grew to love her body and herself.
You just need to look like you.
Eating healthy and staying fit should be your only priority.
So you're not over 6 feet.
So you don't have the stunning face of Gisele.
You're gorgeous because you are you and there is only one you. Don't look for role models in fashion. Be your own role model.
Celebrate you.
Love you.
