I am so obsessed with purple lipstick, right now. I think it's the perfect mix of goth and pretty. It looks so chic and edgy. It's best with a richly pigmented color. This goes well with most other colors but be sure to keep the rest of your makeup basic as all eyes will be on your puckers. I stopped by my local Rite Aide and could only find this shade of purple at Revlon. I ideally wanted it in a matte lipstick but I didn't any options.

 I bought the Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Color 800, Vigorous Violet. I think it costs around $13.

The only thing about this lipstick is that I think it's long-wearing so I had to use makeup remover to get it off, at night. I also put a layer, let it dry, then put another layer. I did this about 3 times to get the color a bit stronger. I loved it, though.
