CAROLEE couldn’t have chosen a better place than Bloomingdales to announce the winners of their year long jewelry design competition with New York’s FIT.
In an environment full of joy and expectation, the leading fashion jewelry company, CAROLEE, showed its support to Palwala Iqbal, Yoonji Choi, Prakshi Sharma, Christine Gonzalez and Elyse Spencer who, not only won $1000 apiece, but their designs were manufactured by CAROLEE and will be available this Fall.
This competition has been a part of the company’s 40th. anniversary with “CAROLEE: Then and Now”. It was interesting to see how the “now” aspect of the designs was implemented into the company’s vintage designs and compliment them.
“Outrageous Gold Within Reach” was one of the phrases used in order to describe the beauty of CAROLEE’s vintage designs. All the way from pearls to gold, from silver to beautiful pins made with semi precious stones, the students' designs were clearly inspired by the 40 yrs of creative history CAROLEE has to offer.

The Carolee FIT Student Design Presentation was a delightful opportunity to highlight new designs while paying homage to the old.
